Following is showed a funtioning diagram of
the moulds utilized in the production of ceramic
tiles.
The traditional moulds are with entering punches
where the good face of the tile is pressed in
the lower part.
To allow the pressing with the good face up it
has developed first a "traditional mirror mould"
where the tile is still pressed in the lower
cavity of the die-box and therfore the conicity
of extraction don't allow to have a spacer
between the tiles.
The company Mass has developed for first the
mirror mould with upper transfer and ejection
that allow to obtain tiles pressed with de good
face up and with spacer.
This kind of mould is necessary in the
production of porcelain stoneware and Mass
company is the bigger producer.
